Phil Conacher – Managing Director

Phil Conacher has worked in Direct Marketing from the outset.  Initially at ground-breaking agency Trenear Harvey Bird and Watson - the first specifically Direct Marketing agency in the UK. 

At Ogilvy and Mather Direct Phil worked in the Marketing Services Department to provide database, modelling, response handling, laser printing and enclosing expertise.

After working with such clients as Royal Mail Parcels, Elida Gibbs and Lloyds Bank on database, modelling, data processing and response applications, in 1988 Phil left to move to Bristol and join a data processing/management supplier Roetarn. 

Roetarn supplemented the ‘What’ with the ‘How’ from the design and programming perspectives, delivering database and response handling solutions to a wide variety of clients in the Charity and mail order sectors.

In 1996, Phil set up DRA Ltd to provide a more client focused service for data processing, database and analysis.

Since then he has worked with many clients, processing huge volumes of data.
